Ms. Keisha Reid is a senior public sector leader with over 26 years of experience in project management, national development planning, and sustainable energy policy in Barbados.
Since joining the Government of Barbados in 1999, she has played a key role in the development and implementation of major public sector investment and renewable energy initiatives. In 2011, she joined the Energy Division, where she led the implementation of approximately US$90 million portfolio of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the European Union (EU).
Ms. Reid currently serves as Permanent Secretary (Special Projects) with responsibility for Renewable Energy, leading strategic national initiatives to advance Barbados’ energy transition and renewable energy targets.
She holds an MSc in Development and Project Planning from the University of Bradford, a BSc in Economics and Accounting from the University of the West Indies, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
