Gerald Lindo is Director of the Caribbean Chapter of the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ), where he works to mobilize finance and strengthen the enabling conditions for climate-aligned investment across the region. He is an energy and climate specialist with more than 15 years of experience spanning energy policy, resilience, emissions mitigation, project development, and regional programme leadership. His work has focused on helping Caribbean governments, institutions, and investors translate climate ambition into practical investment pathways, with particular attention to energy security, infrastructure resilience, and sustainable development. His perspective is grounded in the realities of small island developing states, where climate resilience, fiscal constraints, energy security, and investment readiness must be addressed together.
